“We accept the love we think we deserve”… I understand the sentiment and these words, but I have to disagree with just one part. People are worthy of love, but as I've learned, when you set your standards too low because you don't believe you deserve better, you usually end up with what you think you deserve. It's okay to make mistakes. It's how we grow into who we eventually end up becoming. It's only a problem when we see the warning signs and keep making the same choices each time. I've even questioned myself at times but I've overcome that just last night. I was on the Post Secret blog the other day and there was this passage about that very quote and I guess it made me think throughout the whole weekend and came up with this..
