LOVE LOCKDOWN

After meeting up with Kate, I went over to Greenbelt to JÔ's. I missed this store so I had a bracelet made for me. I spent about an hour in there picking out the details and deciding on what I wanted. I ended up with a black heart with a lock and key as the thing that holds it together. I'm sure the bracelet speaks for itself... But I feel like sharing. Honestly when I walked into JÔ I didn't know what I wanted but I knew I wanted something that will personify me. I wasn't going to just get anything because man, their stuff is expensive, hahaha. I went back and forth on charms but I always went back to the black heart. I swear, 2008 made my heart cold as hell. I allowed myself to open my heart too easily.. and the outcome of that was a broken one. It happened way too many times this year and it's just disturbing. My heart's an idiot sometimes and I gave my love so swiftly. I know I need to do something about it and I will. This bracelet just represents where I'm at right now and serves as a reminder to not give in. I don't care how emo this blog sounds, its the truth. =X So starting 2009, my love's on lockdown. Srsly. Word to Kanye.
